About Ana Rifa!

Following (18)
second nature [knitrogen-oxygen]
"We sow corn, we plant trees, we fertilize the soil by irrigation, we confine the rivers and straighten or divert their courses. In short, by means of our hands, we try to create as it were a second nature within the natural world" -Cicero

KNITROGEN-OXYGEN The project is developed under the premise that humankind has exploided a lot of the natural resources and now is "aware" of the deterioration of the environment, so we adopt a "protector" or "guardian" role towards it. We feel that we have to take care of earth when we are the ones that are immersed in it.
To show a sweater for a tree (something that only humans wear) denotes an ironic point of view of humanizing and protecting everything that surrounds us, the sweater recreates nature in its forms and colors.
The tree acquires human properties making it an object of observation, interaction, interest and care.
